Police Uncover $10K Worth Of Drugs In Car At Burleigh Heads
Driver was "acting suspiciously"
Police have discovered a large amount of the drug ice, after pulling a car over at Burleigh Heads.
Officers intercepted the vehicle on West Burleigh Rd shortly before 6pm on Wednesday.
They said the driver was acting suspiciously, leading them to search the car, where they allegedly found methylamphetamine worth more than $10,000, as well as a smoking implement.
A 42-year-old man from Currumbin Waters was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of a utensil.
He was scheduled to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on May 2.
