Star Port midfielder Ollie Wines looks set to miss Round 1, according to assistant coach Michael Voss.

Wines has been training well, but is yet to introduce contact into his training.

Voss has said he's a "few weeks away".

“He does look good out there … now it’s just a matter of when we introduce some contact and that’s probably the last progression before he plays.”

He's also suggested that Port could see a high number of club debutants in Round 1, with up to six debuts slated, including new recruits Scott Lycett and Ryan Burton.
