Rumours were abuzz over which band would play the 2020 Grand Final. Who would join the legacy of such iconic acts as The Living End, The Killers, INXS, Tones and... forget that one, and Darryl Braithwaite?

Powderfinger seemed to be the front runner, making their return to the Grandest Stage in AFL for the first time since 2008.

Unfortunately it was not to be, as the band actually turned it down!

JC explains the reason for the decline:
