Prof. Peter Doherty Provides A Covid-19 Vaccine Update

Nobel Prize recipient Professor Peter Doherty joined the Hot Breakfast this morning to give us a medical update regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. 

Doherty confirmed that testing for a vaccine is underway and outlined that we can get on top of this issue sooner rather than later. 

He also believes that the fatality figures reported are slightly skewed due to people with pre-existing conditions. He believes that 1% or less of people diagnosed eventually fall victim to the virus, compared to the 5% reported.
