The fate of Moora Residential College is still unknown, with locals now taking matters into their own hands.
A rally has been scheduled on Tuesday 30th January outside the Town Clock at 3pm to protest the closure of the much loved college.
The McGowan government announced earlier this year that it will reverse its decision to close to the Northam Residential College and the School of the Air after much public backlash.
Education Minister Sue Ellery apologised for the initial decision calling the budget cuts ‘too far’.
But the governments plans to close Moora Residential College is still in question.
