A puppy, dumped in a box and left to fend for itself outside of a Vet clinic in Mackay has found a temporary home. Bek Neilsen, inspector of the RSPCA in Mackay said "I go to abandonments too frequently, it is always on my calling list. It is very common to see people move out of a rental property and just leave their pet behind to starve.”. Tilly the puppy is now in foster care with Annette and Geoff. They will look after her until she is old enough and well enough to be adopted by her forever family.
