The rugby league world is in mourning following the death of former Maroons and Cowboys premiership coach Paul Green this morning.
Green took the North Queensland to their first ever premiership in 2015 in one of the great grand finals of the modern era. Over his playing career he made 162 first-grade appearances for the Cowboys, Roosters, Sharks and Broncos as well as representing both Queensland and Australia.
NRL insider and Sunday Sin-Bin host Ben Dobbin has told Triple M that ‘Queensland is hurting’ following the news.
