Supercoach Bennett Says 'No Excuses' For Hayne's Second Half Near-Try

Marto, Ed & Robin had an exclusive chat with super-coach Wayne Bennett this morning to talk last night's unreal victory for the Maroons. 

Absolutely full of praise for Queensland, he also had a bit of a go at Jarryd Hayne for his second half near-try.

"NSW were pretty calm (too), they were much better than they have been," he said. 

"It always gets down to the little things, and there was two or three moments in that second half." 

"There's no excuses as to why he (Hayne) didn't pass the ball to Morris."

"It's about taking your chances and Queensland just hung in there. All second half they just kept playing it out, playing it out, playing it out."

"That's what makes them so good."
