Triple M's League insider Brent Read has revealed George Burgess might've cost himself a monster million-dollar deal.

Despite interest from Parramatta, for a mid-year switch, Burgess decided to stay with the Rabbitohs for the remainder on the year. 

However, Burgess has since been told there is no contact on offer for him at the Rabbitohs beyond the 2019 season.
