With Ben Barba's punishment handed down by the NRL yesterday, questions are already being asked about when we can expect decisions on Scott Bolton and Dylan Napa.

Bolton pleaded guilty to common assault in January, eight months after he was accused of touching a woman on the thigh in a bar in Bondi, while a number of lewd videos featuring Napa were made public earlier this year.

Ready also touched on the Barba situation, pointing out that the NRL can only afford to let so much go.

"If players keep doing the wrong thing, sponsors are going to desert the game, money's going to go and money's going to come out of their pockets," he said.

"It's time players realise they've got to stop doing this and by chucking them out of the game, it gives a pretty strong message."
