The race to become Brisbane’s second NRL team has largely been a few years of posturing, logo designs and creative pie-in-the-sky pitches – Until now.

This morning the cashed-up Redcliffe Dolphins will unveil a $6.5M grandstand at their boutique stadium facility in a massive display of strength that will put the other three bids on notice.

Speaking on The Big Breakfast this morning NRL insider Dobbo told Marto, Margaux and Nick Cody that Redcliffe’s $100M war chest makes them by far the strongest option in the eyes of Peter V’Landys.

“Peter V’Landys wants a side that’s viable, Redcliffe are more viable than twelve other NRL clubs…they are ready to go”

However, the Dolphin’s biggest trump card is what they can offer the NRL competition next year.
