Orange has Spoken, Reg Kidd Elected the New Mayor
First to be Popularly Elected
With the final preferences allocated, Councillor Reg Kidd has been elected as the mayor of the Orange.
Its not the first time Cr Kidd has sat in the top spot, he was elected by the council for a one year term in 2008. This time though, he's made history as the first popularly elected mayor of Orange.
Meantime, final preferences are yet to be allocated for the Orange City Council. Our elected few have yet to be announced, however leading the pack with formal votes tallied, the Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party and the Mcrae Bloomfield party.
