Retiring Adelaide Crow veteran Richard Douglas has admitted he has fallen out of love with footy over the past few years.

The 2010 Malcolm Blight medalist will call time on his career at the end of the 2019 season, with the Adelaide Crows' match against the Bulldogs at Ballarat this Sunday set to be his 246th, and final, AFL game.

But speaking candidly to Jars & Louie on Triple M Adelaide this afternoon, Richard Douglas admitted that he hasn't enjoyed playing footy over the past few years.
