The great Ricky Grace - THE RICKY GRACE - joined Clairsy, Matt and Kymba this morning to mark 30 years since the mighty Perth Wildcats won their very first NBL championship.

THIRTY YEARS!

On reflecting on what was just the beginning of an epic sporting dynasty, with some of the massive names that made up that championship team, Ricky reflected on how Cal Bruton introduced Ricky to the city of Perth.

"When him (James Crawford), Cal and Tiny came at the same time at the Superdrome, they were breaking backboards, and running and stunning and having some fun and all that sort of stuff,

"You know Cal, what Cal said about me when I first got here, I don't think you can get away with that these days,"

The chat went for a full 9 minutes - WAYYYY over time for our break, but it was so worth it. Here we had a Perth sporting legend, reflecting on what's been a pretty special journey for Perth's basketball team.
