Riverina a big winner from Budget: McCormack
Tax cuts, drought relief, roads
Michael McCormack MP
There will be plenty of benefits for the Riverina from last night's Federal Budget, according to Riverina MP Michael McCormack.
He's highlighted a $6.3 billion dollar spend on drought support, funding for dams and water infrastructure, small business tax relief and a new Emergency Response Fund as big wins, also saying councils will be getting more money for local roads.
Dan and Leigh caught up with the Deputy Prime Minister this morning for a chat about the budget, listen to the whole thing below.
