North Melbourne key defender Robbie Tarrant has been sent to hospital for scans on his shoulder after hurting it in todays intra-club hit-out.
Tarrant, who was announced as vice-captain on Monday, reportedly left the ground after what looked like an injury to his AC joint.
After appearing to be in not much pain he returned to the ground and played out the game.
The 2016 Syd Barker Medalist has a history of shoulder injuries which hampered the first half of his career.
Tarrant’s health looms as a crucial factor in North Melbourne’s 2019 campaign.
More to come.
