This morning Roo, Ditts & Loz talk about their concerns in youth crime across the state, speaking with callers that have both worked with at-risk youth and been victims of crime.

This conversation is sparked by the recent rise in youth crime after around 180 South Australian homes have been broken into over the last two weeks.

We heard from a caller in Largs Bay whose son and daughter in-law's Mustang and passports were stolen while they were at their own wedding.

"The wedding day went ahead but I know my son is just devastated," she said.

Stuart of Enfield, a former NSW Police Officer and Youth Liason Officer spoke about his experiences in the 2005 Macquarie Fields riots.

"There were riots for three nights in Macquarie Fields and a lot of the offenders were under the age of 16," Stuart said.
