Ross Lyon Explains What Really Happened In His Discussions With Carlton

Ross Lyon has cleared the air on what really happen in his discussions to coach Carlton last year.

Quizzed by Jay Clark on The Sunday Rub as to whether he'd spoken to Carlton for longer than originally claimed, Ross was typically honest.

"I'll tell you what my mistake was and I'll never make it again," he said. "I don't have a player manager, and what happens is you don't have someone in between you and the calls come direct.
