Ross Wilson On How He Changed Elton John

Joining Triple M Melbourne's The Hot Breakfast ahead of their live return, Mondo Rock's frontman Ross Wilson shared a story of how his old band Daddy Cool changed rock icon Elton John.

Daddy Cool shot to fame and are still a household name thanks to their 1971 hit single Eagle Rock.

The classic music video, set in a typical Aussie cafe shows the band performing in their signature kooky outfits, which according to frontman Ross Wilson influenced not only Elton John's music with his hit single Crocodile Rock - a response to Eagle Rock but his eccentric outfits.
