Rugby Player Dies After Incident During Game

A 25 year old rugby player has died at Rat Park after an incident during this afternoon's game.

The match between Warringah and Randwick was held at Narrabeen.

He is reported to have collapsed and been given first aid, with emergency services called to the scene.

He was choppered to hospital but the man could not be revived.

Seven News has reported that the young man suffered a heart attack on the field. Watch the video below.

It has been reported that he may have had a pre-existing heart condition.
