Rural Women Gather In Narrandera

There’s going to be a few hundred more women around Narrandera over the coming days, with the town hosting this year’s NSW DPI Rural Women’s Gathering.

The theme for this year is Women, Culture, Land - Just Add Water, it kicks off today and will run through until Sunday.

Rural Women’s Network Project Officer, Emma Regan says the gathering provides the opportunity for women to come together to build resilience by learning new skills, accessing information, sharing experiences and having a voice to decision-makers.
