Sally Pearson has completed a remarkable comeback, storming home to win gold at the 100m hurdles in London and becoming the world champion once again.

After three years ruined by calf, Achilles, hamstring and wrist injuries, Pearson charged in front to win gold, screaming 'oh my God' as she crossed the line.

She won in 12.59 seconds, ahead of American Dawn Harper-Nelson in 12.63 and Germany's Pamela Dutkiewicz in 12.72.

"That was bloody hard," she said after the race.

"I've worked so hard, I don't know what has just happened out there.

"I'm so tired but I'm sure it will sink in soon.

"My husband is in the crowd there somewhere, I'll try and find him and give him a hug soon.

"This is just so incredible, to be a world champion again."
