SandTunes Festival Moves From Coolangatta To Carrara

The SandTunes festival is moving location and Spida is fed up!

Originally the festival was to be held at Coolangatta beach but Tourism Industry Development Minister Kate Jones made the announcement today that it would be moved to Metricon Stadium in Carrara. 

The concert is set to take place on November 30th with one heck of a lineup including Travis Scott, Carly Rae Jepson and more. 

According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, the festival failed to receive a lot of backing from locals in Coolangatta for fears it would affect businesses.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported the move is set to make the Carrara area more than $10 million.

In another 'Spida Sprays' segment, Spida sprayed the decision and compared SandTunes to other known festivals and events held on the Gold Coast.
