Optus and SBS will both broadcast every game of the 2018 World Cup until the end of the group stage.
The company, which had secured rights to the 2018 World Cup, will share the rights with SBS until the end of the group stage.
It comes after streaming issues plagued the first few days of Optus's coverage.
Customers were unable to connect with persistent playback errors.
Optus CEO Allen Lew said on Wednesday afternoon that the company "deeply regret" streaming issues.
Optus coverage will also be free for all Australians until the end of June.
