Waking up with TODAY has never been closer to your front door.
The bright-eyed and bushy-tailed team will be LIVE from Townsville and Maggie Island during the school holidays.
Set your alarms and make a big glittery poster to get your Mum's attention, because you don't have to wait much longer to wake up with TODAY.
On Thursday April 11 the whole show will be broadcasting from Picnic Bay Surf Lifesaving Club at Strand Park, and then on Wednesday April 17 spend your morning with weather man Stevie on Maggie Island.
The team will be heading around North Queensland over the next couple of weeks to celebrate our paradise.
“North Queensland is the jewel in the Sunshine State’s crown; it seems everywhere you look is stunning scenery. Tourism is crucial and we’re keen to spread the word that the region is back in business. We want all Australians to consider Queensland in their holiday plans this year, and make sure we help out struggling tourism operators,” says host Deborah Knight.
Georgie Gardner says she's looking forward to supporting our flood impacted community.
“The images of devastating drought and floods in Queensland were nothing short of heartbreaking. The Today Show wants to bring the of rest of the country up-to-date with how Queenslanders are faring and drive home the message that tourism in the affected areas has never been more important," says Georgie.
