Second Man Faces Court Over The Death of Kelly Wilkinson

A second man has been charged with the murder of Arundel mother, Kelly Wilkinson, three months after her estranged husband was charged with her murder.

25-year-old Bradley Bell is the former work colleague of Ms. Wilkinson’s estranged husband Brian Earl Johnston.

He was arrested at a Coomera business on Tuesday and taken into custody.

Bell is accused of assisting Mr. Johnston on the day of the murder, by transporting him to Wilkinson’s home and procuring fuel used in the incident, with knowledge of the intent to kill.

Wilkinson’s death in April shocked the country after her estranged husband was accused of setting her alight in her Arundel backyard, where he was later found with significant burns.

The 25-year-old faced Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning. The matter has been adjourned to October 15.
