Security Guards Refused To Let Luke Darcy Back Into The Brownlow Medal For Six Rounds In 2002

The Brownlow Medal Ceremony in 2002 doesn't carry the happiest of memories for Luke Darcy.

This morning on Triple M's Hot Breakfast he revealed another thing that went wrong that night. Having seen the votes start to fall against him, Darc went for a bit of relief, in every sense. However, when he went to go back into the room, the security guards at Marvel Stadium wouldn't let him in!

Darc was kept out for six whole rounds, which to be fair he described as "my happiest six rounds of the night!"
