Rumble on the Reef Queensland Championship of Street Skateboarding:
Rumble on the Reef is the ASF Queensland Championships of Street Skateboarding for 2018. This contest is on a brand new 2.2 Million Dollar skate park based in North Mackay. Skateboarders will qualify through over 20 contests nationally to compete in the Rumble on the Reef. (Tuesday 25th until Saturday 29)
Ice Skating at Caneland Central – now until Oct 7)
Monday to Saturday session times are: 9:30am, 11am, 12:30pm, 3:30pm and 5pm with a 7pm session available on Friday and Saturday nights.
Sunday sessions are: 11am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm.

Etnies Demo at Sugar Bowl Mackay: Come Watch Etnies Internationals Trevor Mcclung and Matt Berger alongside some of Australia’s Finest Etnies Team riders live in Mackay. This is an exclusive demo for the Rumble on the Reef so don’t miss this opportunity! It’s between 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Sugar Bowl Mackay is the new skate park next to the Mackay PCYC.
Active In The City: Paper mosaic a pencil box
Come along to the Bluewater Quay for a craft class with a view. Get the kids out and about this school holidays and come and paper mosaic a pencil box. Check out the Greater Whitsunday Farmers Market while you are there, on from 7am until 11am.
Kids Chalk Paint Workshop:
Decorate a mermaid tail with chalk paint. Step by step instructions to paint a pre-cut tail and finish to take their very own mermaid tail home! Recommend for kids 10 years + but younger kids are welcome, but must have one on one adult assistance. Workshop includes: wooden mermaid tail, chalk paint, painting supplies, sandpaper. If kids have an allergy to dust, please bring a mask for them to use when sanding. We recommend that the kids wear old painting clothes. They are provided an apron...but still may end up wearing paint. Only 6 spots available. $50 per child. Price includes GST. Wednesday 26th September - 10am till 11.30am
