Shaun Burgoyne Talks His Return To Port Adelaide & New Book 'Silk'

407 games, 4 time Premiership Player, Shaun Burgoyne joined Roo & Ditts to discuss his career.

Shaun Burgoyne has just released 'Silk', a book about his legendary footy career, and spoke to the boys about some of the stories inside, including being "lazy" at the beginning of his career:

"I think when I first came into the league I survived on pure talent, to be honest."

Silk also discussed what made him hang up the boots:

"I gave it a good nudge, tried to play forever, didn't I? It was time to hang the boots up and move on to life after Footy."

Burgoyne has been given a position at the Port Adelaide Football Club next year. He went into more details about what he will be doing at the Club:

"I'll be across a bit of list management, mentoring, leadership, government-corporate relations, and a bit of the Indigenous Liason Officer stuff."
