Sisto Malaspina Has Been Remembered With An Incredible Mural In Carlton

Melbourne icon Sisto Malaspina has received his own mural in Carlton.
The mural features Malaspina - whose state funeral is being held today - enjoying a coffee, with the Pellegrini's logo and his espresso bar by his side.
The mural was painted by street painter Steve Cross, near Lygon and Waterloo Street around Carlton's Italian district.
"Steve painted this on his own, uncommissioned and self funded as a tribute to Sisto and as a gift for his family and Melbourne community," wrote deansunshine on Instagram, who posted the photo.
"He made this cafe a safe spot for everyone and anyone who dropped in making this whole story even sadder."
