A snake made its way on field during an SANFL practice game, bringing it to a standstill.
During the second quarter of a practice game between South Adelaide and North Adelaide at Noarlunga Oval, a boundary umpire saw a brown snake sneak into the forward pocket.
Quick-thinking officials called an early half-time break, as they called in a snake catcher.
It comes after the North Adelaide Roosters infamously fielded a 19th man during the final quarter of last year's SANFL preliminary final win.
They went on to win the grand final.
