Some Guy From Mount Isa Came To Townsville And Broke A World Record!

We can't believe it either! Dan from Mount Isa, also known as Thunder Dan came to Townsville and broke the World Record for the longest time spent on a roundabout! 

For 4 hours, Dan followed the roundabout, breaking the previous world record of 3 hours 43 minutes made by 64-year-old Oran Sands from Indiana in the US.

At time of publication, Thunder Dan has raised $865 of a $2000 target for Men's Shed, which provides a safe and friendly environment where men of all ages can meet, have a chat and a cuppa, make new friends, share and learn new skills, contribute to the community and gain access to information on mens health issues and available resources.

This not for profit organisation gives men a sense of value and belonging and contributes to the community by way of projects and providing training and educational activities. 

Funds raised will go directly towards solar power installation.
