Someone Dressed Up As 'Big Ben' Ran The 42km London Marathon Then Got Stuck At The Finish Line

Some bloke ran the London Marathon over the weekend dressed as the Big Ben, only to get unstuck at the finish line.

Lukas Bates took part in his fourth London Marathon, and to raise money for the Alzheimers research, dressed up as the iconic Big Ben for the 42km race.

A fantastic effort by Bates and all for a great cause.

Unfortunately his plans all came unstuck at the finish line when he literally couldn't fit underneath the banister at the finish line.

Bates also set out to smash the Guinness World Record for Fastest Marathon Dressed As A Landmark Building (male).

Unfortunately for Bates he came in an hour and four minutes short of the record which currently stands at two hours, 59 minutes.
