Southern Downs Regional Council Planning Scheme Changes

Southern Downs Regional Council is seeking feedback on proposed changes to residential development in a rural zone.

Council is looking at setting up a one kilometre exclusion zone around feedlots, piggeries and poultry farms.

Council says the changes would protect those industries from conflict with other users.

Public consultation is open until the end of next month.
