In another special event for this year's Centenary Armistice commemorations - the White Night display at the Soldiers Memorial Institute in Pall Mall will return on Friday night and Saturday night.

Bendigo District RSL sub-branch president Peter Swandale is urging residents to help out our veterans and purchase a poppy ahead of Sunday.

"All that money goes back to the veterans and that's important for us to develop programs to support all veterans," Swandale says.

People can purchase poppies from your local RSL sub-branch or Woolworths outlets.
