"Staggering": Damian Barrett Addresses Mark Ricciuto's Adelaide Comments

Damian Barrett has hit out as Mark Ricciuto's comments on players to have left the Crows earlier this week, labelling them "staggering" and "wrong".

Ricciuto went in depth on Roo & Ditts on Triple M Adelaide about the number of Crows to have departed the club in recent years, declaring the reasons why certain players - such as Jake Lever, Mitch McGovern and Charlie Cameron - left and why the club couldn't retain them.

Barrett, speaking to the Rush Hour with Bernie & Jars on Triple M Adelaide, found the comments stunning.

"I just thought they were staggering comments to make,” he told Triple M.

“I felt it was wrong. It’s not his position to do that. The numbers were wrong in some instances.

“You do sympathise with people in that position, but it’s been three years of carnage at that club now...it was as bad an example of what’s happening at that club as any."
