The Motor Accident Commission (MAC) and the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) have teamed up to keep us safe over Easter highlighting the unique beauty of our state, in our own backyard, Tourist spots that can help keep you safe on the roads.
The “it’s Worth the Stop fatigue campaign” reinforces the message to Rest Every Two Hours. So if you’re traveling across the limestone coast over Easter or if you’re heading away make sure you take a break and stay safe.
Stop at any of the driver reviver stations set up across the country or take it upon yourself to stop in any of the amazing places we have in or own back yard. Keith, Bordertown, Millicent, Coonawarra, Naracoorte, Port mac, robe, Beachport, mount Gambier. Stop in at the visitor centres drop by a café or just take five to rest and revive and whatever you do make sure you and your family have a happy and safe Easter.

Princes Highway. It is being co-ordinated by our local SES & CFS, with the help of the local “Mens Shed” members.
Location: Approx 25kms north of Kingston on the Princes Hwy.
Thursday 29th March - Setup in the morning, until about mid-night
Friday 30th March - approx. 9am, until about mid-night
Monday 2nd April - approx. 9am, until about late evening.
Easter Monday only.
Coonalpyn: The Coonalpyn Lutheran Church is conducting a Driver Reviver on Good Friday 3oth March between 10 and 4 ish with plans to do similar on Easter Monday
A Driver Reviver stop will be manned 24 hours starting mid-afternoon Thursday until approx. 4pm Monday. At night, the van is locked with the lights left on so just toot and someone might just come out and provide travelers with a cuppa.
Dickenson’s Corner, the junction of the Riddoch Highway and the road to Bordertown at the Morambro Creek rest stop, 29 kilometres North of Naracoorte.
