Steven Marshall Says One Lucky South Australian Is Going To Be Sent To The Moon

South Australian Premier Steven Marshall joined Roo & Ditts this morning with some massive news — one lucky South Australian is going to be sent to the moon!

“We’re going to be transforming the old Holden site, a 350 million dollar redevelopment out there,” the premier said.
“We’re going to be doing that because we are going to be sending people from South Australia into space — in fact, landing on the moon!
“Seven people, six will be astronauts, but the big news… we are reserving one of those positions for a member of the public.”
Marshall said that the lucky South Aussie will have to undergo a series of rigorous tests and will be in space within the next couple of years.
“This will take place in 2021, it’s not gonna be out there next week,” he said.
“This is going to be massive. One South Australian — because the headquarters is based in South Australia I’ve been able to negotiate this — one South Australian will be going to the moon.”
