Sunraysia locals headed to the polls!

The early voting center's for tomorrow’s election are open until 6 pm tonight for those wanting to get in before the rush on Saturday.

So far, 1.184 million votes have been cast around the country with a further 216,000 in postal votes.

In the Mildura region, over 13,000 people have hit the polls ahead of election day.

Residents can head to Mildura South Primary School, Ranfurly Primary School, Chaffey Secondary College, the Salvation Army Citadel, Mildura Senior Citizens Centre, Mildura West Primary School, Irymple South Primary School to vote, with a load more voting centres open across the region tomorrow.

Locals looking to vote before 6 pm tonight (Friday 23-11-18) can head to 824 Fifteenth Street Mildura.

Residents are being reminded that voting centres are open from 8 am to 6 pm tomorrow and postal votes must be postmarked by 6pm to be counted.
