A man has been left fighting for life after a near drowning at a Surfers Paradise resort last night.
The man in his 30s was pulled unconscious from a pool before Queensland Ambulance crews, including Critical Care Paramedics, were called to the scene around 9.23pm.
Bystanders were performing CPR when paramedics arrived.
He was then transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition under lights and sirens.
It follows a series of near drownings across the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales in recent weeks.
