This week on Moonman In The Morning, we have taken a deep dive into the lethal disease that thousands of tradies could be suffering from without even knowing it.

Silicosis is an incurable disease of the lung which uniquely affects tradespeople working with silica based construction materials such as sandstone, granite, tiles, brick and concrete that, when drilled or cut, release tiny particles of silica that are then breathed in.

Andrew from Ingleburn has spoken about his experience as a stonemason and since discovering he himself is suffering from the disease, is urging others to get tested FREE OF CHARGE through WorkCover
