Synthetic Cannabis Seized During Hunter Raids

Police have seized 1.5kg of synthetic cannabis during raids on two Hunter tobacconists.
Based on a tip off, officers searched a shop in Hanbury Street, Mayfield on Friday morning, seizing 326g of synthetic cannabis, packaging and cash.
Police then searched a shop in High Street, Maitland on Friday afternoon, seizing almost 1.2kg of synthetic cannabis, 10 ice pipes and more than 200 water pipes.
All items seized have been taken for forensic examination.
No charges have yet been laid; however, inquiries are continuing.
