Teacher Charged With Historical Sexual Abuse Of Three Male Students

A teacher has been arrested and charged following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of three male students at an eastern Sydney school more than forty years ago. 

A strike force was set up earlier this year to investigate allegations brought against a female teacher between 1977 and 1980. 

Detectives found three boys aged 13, 14 and 15 were allegedly assaulted by the teacher whilst at school. 

A 67-year-old woman was arrested at her St Ives home on Friday morning. She was taken to Hornsby Police Station, charged with 14 counts of indecent assault on a male. 

She was granted a strict conditional bail and is scheduled to appear in court at Waverley Local Court on October 6. 

The investigation is ongoing.
