Adelaide co-captain Tex Walker has responded to comments from AFL commission chairman Richard Goyder, who suggested the majority of AFL captains last year backed a twilight grand final.
TEX EXPLAINS WHY:
AFL commission chairman Richard Goyder told News Corp a few days ago that club captains would "love" a twilight grand final, as opposed to the traditional start time during the afternoon.
“We asked the club captains last year and the majority of them said they’d love a twilight grand final," he said.
“Everything has to line up — you have to take the fans with you and there has to be good reason to do it."
So Walker joined Roo & Ditts on Tuesday morning and was quizzed about the veracity of Goyder's comments...
