Teys unveils $42 million energy hub plan

Teys in Wagga has unveiled a bold new plan, looking to develop an on-site low emissions energy hub, to power its meat processing plant at Bomen.
Employing over 800 people, and contributing an estimated $512 million a year to the regional economy, Teys plans to use a combination of technologies including biomass and solar, to reduce its costs.
Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack has congratulated the business on looking to the future and showing faith in the region.
