The Chaser have protested against the Sydney Opera House being used to advertise The Everest by projecting Alan Jones’s phone number on the iconic landmark.
Opera House CEO Louise Herron initially declined to show advertising for the $1.3m horse race but was instructed to by Premier Gladys Berejiklian following heavy pressure from Jones.
The Chaser, who broadcast Radio Chaser on Triple M, hit back at Jones by taking advantage of what Prime Minister Scott Morrison called the “biggest billboard” in the city by taking the piss out of Jones with a huge projection that says “ADVERTISE HERE: Call Alan” and then gave what is apparently Jones’s actual phone number.
They first loaded up a four wheel drive and tested it on other landmarks before finally getting to the Opera House for the coup de grace.
You can catch Radio Chaser every day on Triple M Sydney between 3-4pm or the Platinum Edition every Saturday morning 8-10am in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane or 7-9am in Melbourne.
