A cool change is about to bring Melbourne some mercy after a brutal few days of heat and humidity.
The Bureau of Meteorology has reported that change has come up through Geelong on its way towards the city.
They gave a range of 2-4pm for the change to hit the city.
The change is reflected in the three hour heat map for Melbourne today:
