The NRL has its newest villain following Addin Fonua-Blake’s run-in with the Newcastle crowd, that according to Triple M’s Paul Kent.
Kenty and fellow colleague Gorden Tallis believe his “baiting” of the crowd didn’t overstep the mark and was all in good jest.
"I think we need villains," Kent said on Triple M Footy.
"If he is happy to play the villain, he played the perfect part.
"It didn't overstep the boundary of becoming to personal or dangerous."
Fonua-Blake is however facing a two week stint on the sidelines for his hit on Knights captain Mitchell Pearce.
