Roo has given his thoughts on the AFL 's proposed changes to the length of half time.

THE AFL is considering cutting the length of half-time from 20 minutes to 10 minutes, starting next season.

The idea was initially raised with the AFL Competition Committee when it met on Tuesday, and it will now be further actioned in a chat with the AFL club's general managers of football.

Feedback has reportedly been positive among players, however, speaking this morning on Triple M Adelaide, former Adelaide Crows champion Mark Ricciuto said he believed there were other ways the AFL could shorten match lengths, outside of halving the half time break.
