The Hume Highway Is A Nightmare After A Truck Collision

There is a huge traffic jam on the Hume Highway following a collision between two trucks.

According to 7 News, the Hume Highway is now closed northbound at Menangle Park near Glenlee Road, with 4km of traffic banked up and one of the southbound lanes also closed.

One truck is on fire.

Northbound traffic is currently being diverted onto Picton Road.

Emergency crews are at the scene and are trying to clean up a spill and extinguish the fire.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
